But you are more than welcome to gather what you can from the pictures and try to recreate it yourself
But who knows maybe there are some lego/bionicle building tutorials out there... practice is really the best thing one can do though (surprise). Also analyze how other people build and look at certain strategies they use and odd piece attachments; use pieces in ways they were not designed to be used (like feet for chest plates or arm guards)... Also color scheme, I can't emphasize that enough. Nobody likes rainbow toa; it makes one look like an amateur... Also avoid the Inika template when building, be creative and build custom torsos...
As far as swords go, you want an idea of what you want your sword to look like before you start working (well, not necessarily but it's always nice to have a goal). The first step to making a sword is to create a "skeleton" of it that is sturdy and gives the overall shape of the sword (my swrod's skeleton can be seen here[link]). Then you pretty much spam on pieces to provide the effect you want. Mine for example had an aerodynamic, steam-punk, engine quality. If you were to make it you could go any way: dragon, organic, futuristic.
Anyway that's what I have on sword design for ya...
Thanks for the comment!
I love the little random steam pipe thingies coming out of the back xF And even though this would be a little impractical irl, I would SO lug this thing around with me if I had one :'D
Particularly though, I love how you made the two blades seem look like one. Great job dude <:I
